What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a way to make a passive income from the sale of a product or products in your desired niche.
Nearly every company on the internet has an affiliate program. In fact, every product for sale on Amazon can be promoted for an associate commission, there are countless opportunities to make money from affiliate marketing.

What do I mean by better search rankings?

Let’s say that someone on the worldwide web is searching for a product or service that they need, they type into the search bar on their computers a keyword.
For example they are looking for a new blender for their kitchen, so they type in a keyword that relates to whatever product or service they are looking for.
In the case of a kitchen blender they might type in “kitchen blender” or “find a good kitchen blender” or they may look for “buy a good kitchen blender” do you see what I mean by a keyword.
What happens next?
In this example when the person types “find a good kitchen blender” on Google they are taken to a results page, I’m sure that you have searched on Google, Bing or Yahoo to find stuff that you are interested in.
The first page will show the best search engine optimized websites (SEO) usually there are ten websites to choose from. You will scroll down the page and read a little bit of information on each site, then you either go to the next page or to search even further or you will click on the website link that is of most interest to you.
Interesting website
Why would you stay on a website for a long time? according to a survey people will often leave a webpage in the first 30 seconds, 30 SECONDS! It’s not very long is it? so the question is?
Can your website capture that person’s attention in under 30 seconds?
To be honest in today’s world people want information fast, so your website must be able to communicate your message in that first 30 seconds, if not your website visitor will go somewhere else.
You must use your passion about your particular niche to get your message across to your readers.
Interesting engaging content
The key to getting on the first page of Google search is to write well researched content written in a way that is interesting and engaging for your website visitor. So, when you decide to write an article of up to 2,000 words you must write in your own style with your website visitor uppermost in your mind.
Images
To keep your content even more interesting I suggest the use of images related to the content of the page that you are writing, add the images to the content and I recommend that you place the image to the right of the content because Google can understand what the page is about.

Google searches webpages 24/7 trying to understand what is good content and what isn’t good content, to make an impression in the search engine rankings your content must be well researched and unique.
You must have the keywords inserted in the meta tags in your sites back office, you must also put the keywords that apply to your site in the keywords box.
